TO BE A MEMBER YOU MUST BE A MALE OVER THE AGE OF 16, A PRACTICING CATHOLIC AND BE OF IRISH HERITAGE BY BIRTH, DESCENT OR BE LEGALLY ADOPTED BY SUCH A PERSON AND BE OF GOOD MORAL CHARACTER. (Clergy do not need to be of Irish Ancestry)

Common Q&A

Do i have to pay dues? – Dues are currently $24.00 the largest portion of this goes to fees from the National and State AOH boards. If you are over 75, dues are reduced. No dues are assessed to Active Duty Military or Clergy.

What does Irish Heritage mean – Irish to ANY degree, we do not ask for any sort of geneology or documentation.

How often do you meet? – We meet monthly except for the month of August (which is generally the month of the State or National Convention)

What is the AOH interested in? Communication of Irish History, Irish immigration issues, a permanent and peaceful unification of the Irish nation, Promotion of Irish heritage and standing against defamation of the Irish or stereotypes.
